Today Australian stocks still are struggling for violence in Libya, costs associated
with a devastating earthquake in New Zealand and downbeat profit guidance.
Below response to a reader's query regarding stoploss:
To be honest, I really took a lesson in stoploss, which would cost me thousands
of dollars in last a few days.
Usually only one or two of shares in my portfolio faced stoploss in the past. In such
case I could deal easily. However this time most of stocks fell below stoploss
I hardly sold any of them in lunch time (This is my only trading hour during a day).
Fortunately it is not a crash. The market will be recovering in the future.
My stoploss will be re-set for current level.
However it reminds me how important the stoploss is. |
